Seeing Jesus John exclaimed, “Behold the lamb of God!”
John at first refused to baptize Him.
But Jesus told him, “Let it be so now, for by us must all righteousness be fulfilled.”
And John then baptized Him.
When Jesus came out of the water, the voice of the Lord was heard as the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in the form of a dove.
The voice of God said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
The Heart of Jesus is the ultimate symbol of God’s mercy;
but it is not an imaginary symbol.
It is a real symbol, which represents the center, the source from which salvation for all humanity gushes forth. (Pope Francis)
Everyone’s existence is tied to that of others:
Active retirement, old people and seniors free time, group of four elderly men having fun and playing cards game at park. Waist up
Life is not time merely passing by, life is about interactions. (Pope Francis)
I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth’s sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.
The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. (Psalm 19:8)
